Increasing Organic Traffic and Conversions for a Local Paint & Wall Covering Center
Color Wheel, a local third-generation owned and operated paint center with two locations in Virginia—McLean and Fairfax—has been working with Gazz Digital for their digital marketing needs.
Since 1965, Color Wheel has served the local community with paint, wallpaper, window treatments, custom framing, and furniture reupholstery. The client needed to revamp their digital marketing strategy, and they chose Gazz Digital for the job.
The Client’s Existing Challenges
The client needed a new digital marketing strategy for their newly redesigned website to improve organic traffic and rankings. Their existing content wasn’t targeting keywords, and their website had incorrect URLs and other internal issues that were impacting their rankings and visibility.
In addition, the client had no existing ad campaigns or engaging blog content for their web visitors. They needed assistance with not only fixing the internal issues on their site, but also with improving their overall web presence and digital content.
Gazz’s Digital Marketing Strategy
Gazz Digital first focused on remedying the existing issues within the client’s website. By doing so, the Gazz team ensured the website was fully functional and that Color Wheel’s online visitors could easily find the information they needed instead of getting error pages.
Next, the team moved on to keyword research, which would support Color Wheel’s new content strategy, including new page and blog content for the site. The team also implemented an ads campaign to help the client generate more leads and increase conversions.
In terms of content marketing, the Gazz team wrote unique blog content on a monthly basis, in addition to new static website content as well, which new blog posts being pushed out on to the client’s social media properties to extend their content’s reach.
For social media marketing, the Gazz team developed and ran campaigns promoting paint products offered by their stores on multiple social channels. The image and video content provided by their suppliers was reviewed and applied to Facebook and Instagram posts as part of the campaign, expanded their reach and promoting new offerings.
The Results
Color Wheel’s new digital marketing strategy resulted in an increase in organic traffic and web conversions. In addition, by refreshing their website with new page and blog content, their content not only uses keywords and phrases to support organic search results, but also focuses more on their key products and services to better communicate their offerings to their customers.
